My film Boob Sweat has been acquired by Brandon TV, one of the fastest growing new streaming services. We are SO excited and in talks to make content together… fingers crossed!
BIRD FOOD premieres at deadCenter Film Festival!
Brooke Ross and I just finished production on our new short BIRD FOOD and we already have our first festival locked in! We’ll be premiering at deadCenter (an Academy Award-qualifying and all around fabulous festival!).
In our film, Brooke plays the unemployed and newly single Ava, Geoffrey James (of the Headgum podcast fame!) is the mature-seeming, soft boi-esque Jonah, and I am their waitress.
GREAT LOOK is LIVE on Vimeo!
Our web-series GREAT LOOK is out right now (pw: greatlook)! The four episodes we’ve released follow Alex, a cripplingly self-conscious Armenian American actor, as he navigates life and love in Los Angeles. The creator, writer, and star, Michael Yapujian, and my co-producer and fellow director Grant Singer are so thrilled to finally share it with the world.
BOOB SWEAT gets distribution!
Our sweet USC Thesis Film Boob Sweat has gotten distribution through Omeleto, a channel which curates collections of quality, festival-winning short films through Youtube. Our film currently has over 2.8 million views which is totally surreal!
Here’s the link to watch Boob Sweat on Youtube.
And Omeleto published an incredibly complimentary and thoughtful writeup about Boob Sweat here.
FEELING SEXUAL Screens at 6 Festivals!
Over the last crazy year and a half, Feeling Sexual has screened at the Portland International Film Festival, Calgary Underground Film Festival, JxJ (Formerly the Washington Jewish Film Festival), Lady Filmmakers Festival, Los Angeles Indie Film Festival, and most recently the Culver City Film Festival.
We’re so thrilled that our baby has been seen by thousands of people across the US.
Mark Duplass funded our films!!!!!!
My collaborator Brooke Ross got to speak with Mark Duplass on Seed and Spark’s Crack Your Project. Mark selected our project to discuss on a livestream. After breaking down our projects and offering his advice, he announced that he’d help fund our filmmaking pursuits!
We’re so grateful for his help and will start pre-production soon…
